SoChic has a tattoo that makes us honorary tattoo sisters (LOL) she decided to get her horoscope sign on her front left shoulder thanks to me of course ;-). She gets branded in the city by St. Marks to be exact. There were so many tattoo shops on that strip but were also joined with mall carts with out wheels selling there hats, scarves, jewelry and etc. Didn't seem like the appropriate place to have a needle artistically scraping against the skin but finally we found the perfect spot!
A bit upset of not remembering the name but it was a piercing and tattoo shop that also sold bongs and water pipes in all sizes and designs, it was ridiculous in my opinion. So as we're in there we show the artist the tattoo SoChic wanted (which I drawn for her as well to display). We got to talking, she sat down calmly on the chair, slowly pulled her sleeve off her left shoulder and took a deep but relaxing breath and was ready to go! First was the outline drawing which took a quick minute or two. Then the needle drawing outline which usually pinches and for all of the tattoo feinds out there we know the most unpleasant part is the coloring. Overall she made it through with flying colors! Shout out to Mad Dog the artist that did a splendid job. I'm going back to fix an old one of mines and get a few more myself...... they're just SO ADDICTIVE!!!
